Job summary

DPR Construction in Denver seeks a LD Builder Development Specialist to establish and lead the Builder Development Program regionally. You will support project teams, coaches, and business units with training to ensure consistent, equitable development opportunities.

You are the main regional point of contact for the program. The role requires coordinating with the BDP team, arranging facilitators, tracking curriculum, and reporting progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a large commercial construction environment or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing construction projects at DPR.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Trainer or Facilitator; experience creating training content preferred.
• Coaching and mentoring experience
• Experience with staffing projects and monitoring the performance of the assigned resources.
• Capable of managing teams of varied sizes and complexities
• Experience with project management software such as Workday, Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, CMiC, ACC, and P6.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and continuation of the BDP program in the region.
• Active member of the BDP Team; maintains program consistency through regular check-ins and communication.
• Communicate the program format, content, and administration requirements to a wide audience.
• Reports out to the Initiative Lead on progress, challenges, and results, and coordinates with the Initiative Manager and other Specialists.
• Monitors curriculum achievement through centralized tracking tools, including evaluations and assessments with coaches.
• Manages the calendar of activities including rotations, events, and meetings.
• Coordinates facilitators, speakers, off-site visits, and jobsite visits to enhance learning objectives.
• Facilitates group sessions and engages participants in a cohort to share experiences in a safe space.
• Captures feedback and incorporates program improvements.
• Creates and curates content for the BDP with oversight from the BDP team.
• Trains project teams and coaches to ensure support for teams and participants.
• Administers training and program announcements to employees and peer groups.
