Job summary

PenFed Credit Union in Kingstowne, Virginia is seeking a Senior Manager, Branch Operations to plan, implement, and oversee the financial center strategy across a regional cluster. You will lead with a can-do attitude, develop teams, and drive profitability while keeping member satisfaction at the forefront.

The role supervises a large team (40+), requires up to 90% travel within the region, and demands a strong, process-driven leader who champions community engagement, compliance, and a culture

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or a combination of education and job experience that provides the necessary skills.
• 7–9 years of demonstrated experience with sales/credit union/bank operations and building, managing and coaching a team.
• Experience managing and leading teams of 40+ people is strongly preferred.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding team goals.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; AI tools experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategy to achieve goals for financial centers within region; motivate and lead to deliver on these goals with strong coaching.
• Select, develop and inspire financial center managers and teams; counsel to success.
• Manage budgets, revenues, and expenses; drive positive contribution in each center.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and compliance across locations.
• Foster collaboration and a unified culture across geographically dispersed teams.
