Job summary

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, seeks a Biomedical Equipment Specialist specializing in sterilizer systems for a field-based opportunity covering the Boston and New Hampshire region.

The senior HTM role requires true SME-level sterilizer expertise, OEM training on Steris/Getinge equipment, and the ability to plan and execute field-service across multiple facilities with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical repair in HTM.
• Advanced SME-level sterilizer expertise required.
• OEM training on Steris and/or Getinge equipment is required.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced clinical equipment.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout Boston and New Hampshire region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and modality expert for sterilizer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilizers to manufacturer standards.
• Support sterilizers and advanced clinical equipment across facilities.
• Independently diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations.
• Calibrate, validate, and return equipment to clinical service.
• Maintain equipment inventories and service documentation.
• Coordinate with facility leadership and BMET teams.
