Job summary

The Corporate is seeking an experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist with sterilizer expertise to support multiple healthcare facilities across an assigned region. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sterilization equipment and provide advanced Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) support for high-end clinical devices.

The role requires independent work, robust technical knowledge, and regular travel to facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent HTM experience.
7+ years in repair, maintenance, and support of biomedical/electro‑mechanical equipment in healthcare.
Advanced expertise in sterilizer systems and related equipment.
OEM training/certification on Steris and/or Getinge systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for sterilizer systems, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance.
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain sterilizers and related biomedical equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-end clinical devices.
Diagnose complex issues and implement effective downtime-reduction solutions.
Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop maintenance strategies.
Maintain accurate service records and regulatory documentation.
Provide technical guidance to BMETs and regional teams.
Travel extensively within the assigned region to support facilities.
