Job summary
Syneos Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a high-performing field-based commercial sales team focused on a rare disease launch. You will drive regional strategy, mentor KAMs, and build strong hospital/IDN partnerships.
Reporting to the National Business Director, you will develop and execute plans, analyze performance, and ensure patient pull-through initiatives and payer strategies are in place.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven success in Life Sciences.
- 4+ years of first-line sales leadership experience with IDN navigation.
- Experience as a launch leader in rare disease, oncology or specialty markets.
- Strong background in oncology or specialty therapeutics and stakeholder engagement.
- Deep understanding of formulary processes and institutional market access.
Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, train, coach and retain a high performing team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive regional business plans.
- Cultivate relationships with key influencers including C-suite roles.
- Develop and present clinical, pharmacoeconomic and business materials.
- Review regional performance and share insights with stakeholders.
- Coach for accountability and succession planning to drive results.
- Analyze market dynamics and opportunities for regional strategy.
- Monitor performance indicators and drive demand-generation.
- Ensure patient pull-through initiatives for access and initiation.
