Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a Regional Construction Manager to lead BESS construction initiatives across multiple projects, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction. You will allocate labor, equipment, and materials to deliver projects efficiently and within budget.

The role requires extensive experience in construction administration, BESS, and EPC environments, along with proven leadership and cost-control capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience in construction administration and management.
• Experience in BESS, electrical power, substation, renewable energy, or other complex EPC construction is preferred.
• Working knowledge of BESS construction processes, including civil, structural, electrical, controls, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee selection and coordination of subcontractors across civil, structural, electrical, controls, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure permits, licenses, inspections, and project documentation are completed.
• Track schedules and costs to meet time and budget targets.
• Report progress, risks, and resource needs to senior management.
• Develop long-term regional BESS construction capacity plans with leadership.
• Manage staffing and schedules for multiple BESS projects.
• Review progress, address safety, quality, schedule, or other deficiencies.
• Oversee project accounting, budgets, cost-to-complete, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance across projects.
