Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from concept through closeout. You will oversee design-build delivery, coordinate procurement and interconnection, and mentor a project team across Southeast and nationwide assignments.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years of construction leadership on large-scale energy infrastructure, with a strong safety record and proven budget control.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience managing construction projects (>$50M).
• Direct experience delivering utility-scale BESS, solar, or power/renewable energy infra.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Experience leading a project management team.

Responsabilités

• Build client and subcontractor relationships.
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Planners on design schedules.
• Establish project forecasts and budgets.
• Manage project costs across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate BESS equipment procurement, interconnection, and commissioning.
• Take full responsibility for project execution from start to finish.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.
