Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Regional Markets account executive to support growth for U.S. employers with under 5,000 employees. You will engage with advisors, lead account management, and build lasting relationships with local consultants and brokers to expand our book of business.

This role requires 25-50% local travel and licenses in Life & Health and P&C (or ability to obtain within 90 days). You will collaborate across marketing and client services to deliver value to clients and contribute to

Qualifications

• Experience in group benefit sales and/or after-sales service.
• Valid Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Stellar customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Listening, problem solving, strategic thinking, and financial acumen.
• Motivated, independent, adaptable in fast-paced multitasking environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with advisors within a defined territory and improve employers’ insurance offerings.
• Lead and assist in account management and creation.
• Build lasting relationships with local consultants and brokers to grow the book.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and offer new services to existing clients.
• Collaborate with marketing, communication, and client services to develop skills.
