Job summary

Eastern Bank seeks Regional Service Associates to float among branches within a designated region, performing both customer service duties and teller responsibilities. The role requires travel to multiple locations to support branch staffing as needs arise and to serve customers where they live.

Responsibilities include opening deposits, processing loan applications, closing loans, and handling teller transactions while making proactive referrals and maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Outgoing self-starter with technical literacy.
• Basic business acumen and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and accurately to others.
• Ability to build relationships across the organization.
• Ability to learn product details quickly.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of sales experience in retail, financial services or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens deposit accounts and processes loan applications for mortgage, consumer, small business, etc.
• Closes loans for customers and processes teller transactions (ATM, ITM, TCR, ICOM).
• Makes referrals to other bank lines and third-party partners.
• Proactively reaches out to high-value customers by phone and in person to retain and grow the portfolio.
• Maintains operational compliance and adherence to policy.
• Handles daily account maintenance and service issues.
