Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services invites an experienced VP Bank Area Manager to lead multiple SF Bay Area branches. You will coach Branch Managers, drive sales growth, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering exceptional customer experiences across locations.

You will partner with regional leadership to implement sales strategies, oversee talent development, and strengthen community engagement. This leadership role requires strategic vision and hands-on execution across complex operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in banking/finance related field.
• 8+ years in progressive banking or financial services experience in branch ops and/or sales management.
• 5+ years in management/supervisory roles leading teams in retail banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers to achieve regional goals.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Conduct branch visits and leadership meetings to foster consistency and accountability.
• Promote a culture of professional growth, teamwork, and outstanding service.
• Drive regional sales, deposits, new accounts, and cash-management opportunities.
• Collaborate with branch managers and regional leaders to execute sales strategies and marketing.
• Grow customer relationships through business development and community engagement.
• Monitor performance trends and implement action plans to meet business goals.
• Ensure branches follow banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Monitor audits, certifications, efficiency, and risk management.
• Identify gaps and guide branches to effective solutions.
• Promote exceptional service and consistent service quality across locations.
• Support branch involvement in local communities and CRA volunteer activities.
