Poppy Bank is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple branches, including San Rafael, Corte Madera, Millbrae, San Mateo, and SF Financial District. Initial work location will be San Rafael or Millbrae, transitioning to the San Francisco Financial District as new branches open in 2027.

The role emphasizes compliance with policies and regulations, staff development, and driving sales and operational excellence across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in banking.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive branch operations and/or sales management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and banking software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple branches and supervise Branch Managers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with bank policies.
• Develop and implement regional sales and operations plans.
• Coach and develop branch teams and address performance.
• Monitor branch performance and prepare area reports.
• Coordinate incentives and staff cross-training.
