Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Automation Engineer Manager in Nashville, TN. You will lead onsite and regional automation engineers to improve equipment reliability across fulfillment centers, troubleshoot complex control systems, and mentor junior engineers while deploying state-of-the-art conveyors, sortation, and SCADA devices.

You will drive continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics, establish training plans, and coordinate with maintenance and operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years PLC/automation experience.
• 7+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.
• Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of automation engineers across a region for equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex controls and analyze performance metrics.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support and travel up to 80%.
