Job summary

Western Funding Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow dealership partnerships across the US. You will identify prospects, onboard dealers, and manage growth with independent and franchise networks, both in-person and remotely.

The role requires strong automotive, finance, and sales knowledge, plus excellent presentation and communication skills. You’ll travel up to 75% and support rapid funding of contracts while collaborating with a supportive External Sales Team.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• 1-2 years in a challenging sales role with proven success.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel up to 75% and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships live-in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you.
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Constant and effective communication, via phone calls or in person, with dealer partners on current programs; and
• Train dealers in Western Funding including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts
