Job summary

Drury Hotels is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations from our Columbus, OH base while supporting properties across the Ohio market. You will work with hotel teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences, coach staff, and implement service standards with a focus on safety, cost control, and guest satisfaction.

In this role, you will travel up to 75%, mentor leaders across departments, and drive continuous improvement through hands-on leadership, recognizing top performers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business preferred.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Hotel industry experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Support hotel properties and staff in the assigned region.
• Provide leadership across departments and coach team members to succeed.
• Establish high service standards by hiring the right people for the right positions.
• Lead and develop team members across multiple properties in the portfolio.
• Model quality assurance best practices and meet QA metrics.
• Drive service, cost and labor controls through hands-on leadership.
• Use strong problem-solving to handle challenges and continuous improvement.
