Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Area Manager to lead store operations and compliance across the assigned region. You will empower store managers to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, drive sales growth, and manage profits with a strategic, hands-on approach.

The role requires strong multi-unit retail operations experience, a proven ability to guide teams, and willingness to travel across the region to visit stores and participate in regional meetings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years combined experience managing a single store or multi-unit retail operation.
• 3-5 years oversight of a P&L for a store or area/district.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; BS/BA strongly preferred.
• Resident in assigned area with valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of multiple Store Managers and their retail locations.
• Support company initiatives to achieve the Vision 2020 Company strategy and deliver a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
• Monitor performance goals for each store including customer count/retention, unit sales, CFNA applications, telephone conversions and safety.
• Identify training and development opportunities for teammates.
• Set business plan and manage the P&L for the assigned Area.
• Drive B2B business within the assigned area and train Store Managers on B2B duties.
• Ensure stores follow compliance and safety policies; manage customer escalations.
• Collaborate with region and Store Support Center staff to lead needs of the Area.
• Monitor Talent Acquisition, Labor Demand Forecasting, and Payroll.
• Visit stores regularly and attend region meetings.
