Job summary

ICF is seeking a Regional Archaeology Program Manager to lead CRM efforts across the Mountain West, with flexible remote options. This role will shape technical approaches, manage complex environmental compliance projects, and drive business development within cultural resources.

You will mentor staff, partner with regional leads, and help build a robust CRM practice in the Mountain West. The role requires 15+ years in cultural resources, 10+ years in project management, and strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Master’s in Anthropology or related field.
• 15+ years of professional experience in cultural resources management.
• 10+ years of experience in project management.
• 5+ years of experience supervising technical staff in cultural resources management.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership in the archaeology discipline, including technical approach development, task delegation, and QA/QC for reports or documents.
• Manage projects related to environmental compliance and resource management, including client contact, budget control, invoicing, schedule, personnel allocation/planning, public interest facilitation, technical approach development, and subcontractor involvement.
• Oversee or conduct projects that evaluate resources for National Register of Historic Places and various state registers in the region, develop resource management recommendations, assess project effects on resources, and provide high level support to address complex resource challenges that require advanced technical or regulatory knowledge.
• Lead business development efforts within subject matter expertise, participation in events and conferences, and outreach to teaming partners.
• Collaborate with other ICF discipline leads to form BD strategies and pursue multi-disciplinary opportunities
• Recruit, supervise, and mentor staff; collaborate with other ICF regional leads to ensure that the Cultural Resources practice maintains a robust and varied blend of capabilities.
