Job summary

Region 4 Education Service Center – HOUSTON, Texas is seeking a Regional Coordinator to lead AGC/MTSS implementation across districts, providing professional learning, instructional coaching, and technical assistance to strengthen instructional systems.

The role requires a Master’s degree, Texas Special Education certification, and senior leadership experience in special education; the position focuses on collaboration, data-driven improvement, and developing high-quality instructional resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required.
• Texas Educator Certificate in Special Education is required.
• Texas Teacher Certificate (preferred in a core content area).
• Mid-management, Principal, or Superintendent Certificate (preferred).
• Three years of district- and/or campus-level leadership experience related to special education, meaningful access, instructional support, compliance, systems improvement, or program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to school systems in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating systems and services that address the academic, behavioral, and transition needs of students.
• Design, facilitate, and deliver professional learning, instructional coaching, technical assistance, and customized services that support AGC, MTSS, and meaningful access practices.
• Provide leadership related to AGC, MTSS, effective master scheduling, UDL, Standards‑Based IEPs, and SDI, including service delivery models and co‑teaching.
