Job summary

LOCUS Agriculture, a division of Locus Fermentation Solutions, is seeking a regional sales leader to drive growth with existing and prospective agricultural customers. You will manage accounts, provide hands-on field support, and apply consultative sales techniques across the region, including the Pacific Northwest and Dakotas.

The role requires agronomic insight, strong relationship skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in Ag Sales or Account Management.
• Strong understanding of regional row crop market.
• Ability to travel including overnight.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to identify and analyze sales opportunities.
• Ability to build favorable, long-term relationships with customers.
• Ability to understand and follow the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer’s primary contact for product and service questions.
• Develop relationships with decision makers at key accounts.
• Provide agronomy expertise to customers and integrate product offerings.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve obstacles and improve processes.
• Support sales efforts including direct farm sales and distribution.
• Conduct field testing, collect soil samples, and present results.
• Travel for on-site visits with customers.
• Perform product applications and demonstrations as needed.
• Maintain CRM records and communicate with stakeholders.
• Stay current with regional crop industry knowledge.
