Job summary

Locus Fermentation Solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest region, including ID, OR, WA, and nearby states. You will drive sales growth, build long-term partnerships, and provide agronomy expertise to growers and stakeholders.

This role requires travel and strong communication and leadership to develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts. Competitive base salary plus commissions and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in agriculture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven success in an Ag Sales or Account Management position.
• Strong understanding of regional row crop market.
• Ability to travel including overnight.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to build favorable, long-term relationships with customers.
• Understanding of the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer’s primary contact for all product and service-related questions.
• Develop in-depth relationships with decision makers at key accounts.
• Provide agronomy expertise to decision makers and integrate Locus products into grower programs.
• Collaborate with departments to anticipate obstacles and resolve challenges; suggest process improvements.
• Support sales efforts including direct corporate farm sales and distribution.
• Perform in-field product testing and present findings to customers.
• Travel for on-site visits with current and prospective accounts.
• Maintain CRM records of customer interactions.
• Stay updated on industry and crop market knowledge in the region.
• Attend sales trainings, meetings, events, and seminars.
• Maintain timely communications with stakeholders.
• Contribute to building an effective account management process.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
