Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Activity Director to oversee programming for Assisted Living and Traditions across multiple communities. You will support the Transitions Team, manage activities, and ensure standards.

The role requires budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating transportation services while maintaining resident quality of life. Ideal candidates have RCFE Activity Director Certification, a Class B Passenger Endorsement, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Minimum of 2+ years as an Activity Director or 3+ years as an Activity Assistant.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College Degree Preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Class B License with Passenger Endorsement for 20 or more passengers.
• Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Activity Director Certification.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• May be required to vaccinate, participate in daily screening and surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other PPE per regulatory guidelines.

• Support the Transitions Team across the portfolio
• Support standard operations of Assisted Living and Traditions Activities departments
• Maintain activities and resident programs in the absence of an Activity Director
• Manage Oakmont OWL Production and Facebook Management
• Oversee financials, staffing, hiring, and the community transportation program
• Work directly with community Executive Directors to maintain programming operations standards, policies, and procedures
• Participate in developing Oakmont Programming standards and policies
• Support projects related to developing systems for Activity programs in Assisted Living and Traditions
• Conduct audits of Assisted Living and Traditions Activities departments
• Organize, schedule, budget, promote, facilitate, and direct activities and excursions for assigned communities to enhance residents' independence and quality of life
• Travel frequently, including multi-state travel and extended assignments

Requirements

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age
• Preferred a minimum of 2 or more years as an Activity Director or equivalent and/or a Minimum of 3 or more years as an Activity Assistant or equivalent
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
