Position Purpose:The Regional Account Manager develops and manages a portfolio of products to existing and prospective clients to grow sales and profitability according to corporate objectives. This position must establish strong relationships at all levels of internal customers (senior management, product development, procurement, marketing, etc.). Lead internal teams in establishing Myco as a key partner to clients, and winning projects.Be the expert on clients and their champion internally.Essential Duties:- Within corporate objectives, define account targets, develop detailed commercial strategy with support from marketing and technical and successfully implement through account planning.
- Identify and document business potentials and competitive landscape.
- Technically "Savvy" - Can work with Product Technical, Procurement and Brand teams. Does not need a formal technical background.
- Develop successful working relationships with existing and new clients.
- Establishcompany as key partner to clients, obtain and manage project briefs for profitable business.
- Monitor client satisfaction and initiate corrective action where needed.
- Identify business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria and define action plan accordingly.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to maximize business vitality.
- Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities.
- Define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, according to company guidelines, and enter all projects into Salesforce.com.
- Ensure detailed project Information is entered in SalesForce according to established rules.
- Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and clients.
- Share visit reports, client information and feedback with all internal teams, and when needed conduct post-mortem project analysis.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required:- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Food Science.
- 7 - 10 years of sales or customer experience or service experience.
- Proven track record of partnering across all levels at the client including senior management and key decision makers.
- Proven success with innovative selling styles through strong consultative approach.
- Demonstrated ability and proven track record of creating business opportunities by proposing new value propositions/models.
- Ability to work independently to build priorities and areas of focus
- P&L understanding.
- Proven success leading effective negotiations.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Build strong working relationships.
- Service mindset to ensure customer satisfaction/resolution.
- Strong Influencing skills to deliver business imperatives with the ability to “close” new business.
- North America travel 40 - 60%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Preferred:- Previous experience with SalesForce.com.
- Preferred Candidate location in Western States near a major airport.
