Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Toxicology unit, supporting agencies in government, criminal justice, and treatment markets. This remote field-based role covers the Southwestern US; candidates must reside in a metro area with access to an airport and be willing to travel up to 50%.

You will build new sales, assess customer needs, prepare quotes, manage contracts, and drive adoption and growth in the first year.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or higher with proven sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for all candidates.
• Experience negotiating contracts in senior sales roles.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and lead generation.
• Set up meetings with prospects to introduce Abbott products and services.
• Prepare and send quotes and proposals.
• Coordinate and secure contracts between new clients and contracts team.
• Manage customer relationships and account performance in the first year after implementation.
