Job summary

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager - Pharma/BioPharma is expected to lead sales efforts within a specified region by developing solutions for our clients within the Pharma/BioPharma industry. Responsibilities include educating potential customers on our products and services, understanding client needs, and using available resources to meet client and company expectations.

This is a remote position. Due to travel requirements, it is strongly preferred that the selected candidate resides in the North Eastern region of the United States.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform key sales responsibilities: building a funnel of opportunities, closing business, achieving quotas.
  2. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients.
  3. Understand and develop strategies to help clients manufacture their products using our products/services.
  4. Communicate regularly with clients about strategies, new products, and services.
  5. Utilize internal resources to ensure client satisfaction.
  6. Resolve complaints, concerns, or issues promptly.
  7. Prepare and deliver presentations.
  8. Prepare reports and updates for management.
  9. Provide customer feedback and propose product/service enhancements.
  10. Identify and initiate relationships with potential new clients.
  11. Attend tradeshows and promotional events.
  12. Travel within the region regularly.
  13. Update Salesforce database consistently.
  14. Maintain professionalism and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmaceuticals/Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Pharma/BioPharma sales experience with proven achievements.
  • Ability to develop new business with existing and new customers.
  • Able to travel 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in presentation software and report writing.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:

The work environment is typically moderate noise, involving office equipment use and public interactions. Occasional exposure to mechanical and chemical environments. Physical demands include sitting, talking, hearing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, and visual tasks.
