Job summary

AstraZeneca plc, via the Alexion Rare Disease portfolio, is hiring a Regional Account Manager for AHUS/HSCT-TMA. You will lead field sales execution and clinical education in a territory centered on major academic centers, hospitals, IDNs, and priority care sites.

You will build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, drive access and formulary support, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate clinical data into advocacy that advances therapy adoption in hematology,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience in specialty pharma or complex institutional sales is essential.
Strong understanding of hospital and academic care networks.
Proven ability to influence formulary and drive access.
Ability to map patient journeys and align account plans.
Willingness to travel within territory on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Achieve or exceed sales objectives in assigned territory for AHUS/HSCT-TMA.
Develop disease-specific account plans for major centers and IDNs.
Identify workflow gaps and implement solutions to improve adoption.
Educate providers and champions across hematology, nephrology, and internal medicine.
Communicate product state and therapy integration to clinical stakeholders.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet account objectives.
