Qualifications

• 2-4 year degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant experience
• 1-3 years of experience in transportation and/or sales
• Ability to navigate external and internal communications
• Self-motivated with goal-oriented mindset
• Team-oriented, performance-based work environment

Responsibilities

• Initiate relationships and gain new business through cold calling and prospecting
• Solicit target markets and priority lane
• Cultivate existing customers into long-term business relationships
• Communicate account changes through multiple levels of the company
• Stay informed on current market conditions and trends
• Work closely with operational leadership to target key domiciles
• Review customer lane files and ensure rating accuracy
• Document customer correspondence and development in the CRM program
• Acquire and grow new small and medium-size accounts
• Utilize Power BI and account research tools
