Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Region Reliability Tooling team. You will design, develop, and implement scalable tooling to address complex challenges and enhance the performance of ADC regions across the US.

The role involves participating in the full project lifecycle, coding in multiple languages, and communicating milestones to stakeholders. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions to address complex challenges and enhance the performance of ADC regions or tooling gaps.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, from idealization and scoping to implementation and deployment.
• Coding in various languages to improve existing tools or develop new tooling or automation.
• Communicate development project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders fostering transparency.
