Job summary

Hiab USA is seeking a service technician to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, repairs and refurbishments on equipment at our Hiab location. You will follow Manager instructions and strive for quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a technical field, strong diagnostic skills, and hands-on capabilities with mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems. Microsoft Office, Google email and SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year experience in a technical discipline or knowledge.
Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on skills for mechanical, hydraulic and electronic operations.
Ability to safely operate equipment for tests and repairs.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google email and SAP.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and perform service or repair with Hiab quality.
Maintain records and documentation per standards.
Select cost-effective, efficient service approaches.
Protect spare parts security and traceability.
Identify sales opportunities and inform the Manager.
Coach junior colleagues and trainees as needed.
Represent Hiab positively and follow Quality System rules.
