Job summary

EOS in Pflugerville, Texas is seeking a Refurbishment Technician to restore industrial additive manufacturing systems by installing, repairing, replacing and reassembling equipment to ensure it meets operational standards and safety regulations. This role is onsite at the Pflugerville facility.

You will perform troubleshooting, component replacement and calibration/testing of refurbished machines, with detailed documentation and inventory management in line with EOS specifications.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience servicing industrial equipment.
• Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical/mechanical engineering technology.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow written, oral, schematic and diagram engineering instructions.
• Proficient in PC configuration, MS Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment at EOS facilities to ensure full functionality.
• Refurbish used EOS equipment for resale; inspect and identify worn components and issues.
• Conduct inspections and testing to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, components used and inspection findings.
• Communicate service records and field service reports.

Title: Refurbishment Technician

Responsible Manager: Supervisor, In-House Machines & Refurbishment

Location: Pflugerville, Texas

Onsite

We are looking for a Refurbishment Technician to be responsible for restoring industrial additive manufacturing systems, by installing, repairing, replacing and reassembling equipment to ensure it meets operational standards and safety regulations. This person will be involved in detailed troubleshooting, component replacement and calibration/testing of refurbished machines and adhering to quality control procedures to the highest standards.

Your Mission

• Installation of equipment at EOS facilities to ensure full functionality according to EOS specifications.
• Refurbishment of used EOS equipment for re-sale to customers; inspect and identify worn or damaged components/technical issues, assessing the extent of repairs needed.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing to ensure refurbished equipment meets quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, components used and inspection findings.
• Communicate and maintain service records and field service reports.
• Manage EOS service tools and spare parts inventory to ensure accurate inventory of company assigned assets.
• Perform any other duties as assigned
• Ability to lift 35lb unassisted

Your Talents

• Minimum 1 year of experience in servicing industrial equipment.
• Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical/mechanical engineeringtechnology.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use written, oral, schematic and diagram engineering instructions.
• Possess computer knowledge (PC-configuration, MS-Windows, Networkknowledge, MS- Office).

• Availability to work irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Availability to work Monday – Friday onsite at Pflugerville facility.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Professional appearance and conduct, with good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
