Jewish Family & Children6s Service of Pittsburgh (JFCS Pittsburgh) is seeking a Refugee Intake Specialist to manage intake/enrollment and track client participation within refugee employment programs. The role supports new client enrollment, data entry, and timely case notes, with interpretation assistance as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social service, education, or related field.
Experience in refugee or immigrant social services preferred.
Bi-lingual a plus (esp. Arabic, Haitian Creole, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Ukrainian).
Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a team with case workers, interpreters, and staff.

Responsibilities

Manage intake and enrollment for new clients per funding/program requirements.
Use interpretation services as needed.
Monitor weekly activity participation and data entry.
Follow up with employed clients at set intervals (e.g., 30, 60, 90 days).
Prepare case notes and assist with program reports.
