Job summary

The International Institute in Springfield, MO is seeking a compassionate and organized Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) Benefit Coordinator to help refugees enroll in RMA insurance and access healthcare services. You will guide clients through benefits, coordinate with providers, and ensure grant compliance in a fast-paced social services setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform RMA intake and enrollment activities accurately and on time.
• Educate clients about insurance benefits and program requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and documentation.
• Coordinate enrollment reporting and grant-related reporting requirements.
• Assist clients in accessing healthcare providers and service navigation.
• Provide ongoing case management support and follow-up.
• Collaborate with providers, resettlement staff, and program administrators.
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines and grant requirements.
