Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Care Coordinator for its Refugee Resettlement Program. You will develop employment plans, build employer partnerships, run employment readiness workshops, and provide individualized client support to help refugees successfully transition to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field preferred.
• Experience with refugee resettlement/workforce development is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities strongly preferred (specific languages listed).

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized service plans to help refugee clients reach employment goals.
• Assess client needs, strengths, barriers, and opportunities for employment.
• Build relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Facilitate weekly Employment Workshops on job readiness and workplace skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation for funders and reports.
