Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Care Coordinator for its Refugee Resettlement Program. You will help refugees transition into the workforce by developing employment opportunities, building employer partnerships, and delivering employment readiness workshops.

The role focuses on individualized support, collaboration with interpreters and service providers, and maintaining documentation for funders.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email, and electronic documentation systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that help refugees achieve employment goals.
• Assess client needs and identify strengths, barriers, and opportunities for successful employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Conduct weekly Employment Workshops covering topics such as workplace expectations and job readiness skills.
• Coordinate orientation dates and times with employers and arrange interpretation services when needed.
