Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Care Coordinator for the Refugee Resettlement Program. You will develop employment opportunities, build employer partnerships, lead employment readiness workshops, and provide individualized support to help refugees succeed in the U.S.

This role requires collaboration with interpreters and service providers, flexibility for evening/weekend hours, and strong documentation and reporting to funders.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in computers, MS Office, and electronic documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized service plans to help refugees achieve employment goals.
• Assess client needs, identify barriers, and determine opportunities for employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Lead weekly employment workshops on workplace expectations, communication, and job readiness.
• Coordinate services and connect clients with community resources and supports.
• Prepare monthly and other required reports for funders.
