Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Care Coordinator for the Refugee Resettlement Program. You will help refugees transition into the workforce by developing employment opportunities, building employer partnerships, and leading employment readiness workshops.

The role involves coordinating services, advocating for clients, and maintaining accurate documentation to support funders and program requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, email, and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that help refugee clients achieve employment goals.
• Assess client needs and identify strengths, barriers, and opportunities for successful employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Conduct weekly Employment Workshops on workplace expectations, timeliness, communication, and job readiness skills.
• Coordinate services and connect clients with community resources and supports.
• Collaborate with refugee families, interpreters, and service providers.
