Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Care Coordinator for our Refugee Resettlement Program. You will help refugees transition into the workforce by developing employment opportunities, building employer partnerships, leading employment readiness workshops, and providing individualized support to clients navigating life in the United States.

The role involves coordinating services, preparing reports, and collaborating with interpreters and community partners

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Experience or education in refugee resettlement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized service plans to help clients reach employment goals.
• Assess client needs, identify barriers, and explore opportunities for employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Lead weekly employment workshops on workplace expectations and job readiness.
• Coordinate services and connect clients with community resources and supports.
• Maintain documentation and prepare reports for funders.
