Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Care Coordinator to support refugees in transitioning to employment within the Refugee Resettlement Program. You will develop employment opportunities, build employer partnerships, lead employment readiness workshops, and provide individualized support in navigating life in the United States.

The role involves community-based work, collaboration with interpreters and service providers, and occasional evening/weekend hours

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with refugee resettlement or workforce development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized service plans to help clients achieve employment goals.
• Assess needs, identify barriers and opportunities for employment.
• Build relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Lead employment readiness workshops and coordinate onboarding paperwork.
• Maintain documentation and prepare reports for funders.
• Schedule and coordinate services, interpreter needs, and travel as needed.
