Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area is seeking a Program Manager for RSSEP in Virginia. You will provide leadership, oversee contract compliance, and supervise Case Managers delivering employment-focused services to refugees and eligible clients.

You will coordinate with state and local partners, manage budgets, and ensure timely reporting and program integration across LSSNCA services. A bachelor's is required; mastery of grant-driven operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Experience managing grant-funded programs, budgets, and funder reporting requirements.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational management of RSSEP contract with VA DSS, ONA-RS.
• Ensure contract compliance with 45 CFR guidelines and funder requirements.
• Supervise RSSEP Case Managers, interns, and volunteers; provide coaching and development.
• Coordinate with LDSS and TANF/RCA caseworkers for documentation and compliance.
• Monitor program budget, grant proposals, and funder reporting.
• Represent LSSNCA in external meetings and partnerships to expand services.
• Prepare for ONA-RS monitoring visits and corrective action plans.
• Track program outcomes and KPIs for leadership and funders.
