Job summary

Global Refuge, a mission-driven nonprofit, is seeking a Case Manager to support newly arriving refugees and ORR-eligible populations at the Baltimore Welcome Center. You will provide client-centered, trauma-informed case management, employment and supportive services, plus translation and transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes self-sufficiency, collaboration with partners, and culturally competent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Social Work or related field, or two years of relevant case management experience.
• Experience with refugees, immigrants, or limited English speakers is highly preferred.
• Fluency in one of the languages commonly used by client populations is preferred (e.g., Spanish, Arabic, Dari, French).
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and database programs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate client-centered, trauma-informed support.
• Assist in providing reception services to arriving refugees including airport pick-up.
• Screen and enroll eligible families and individuals.
• Create a service plan with the client to address needs and achieve self-sufficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and submit programmatic reports as required.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to connect clients to services and resources.
