Job summary

Global Refuge seeks a Case Manager to support newly arriving refugees at the Baltimore Welcome Center with culturally competent, trauma-informed case management and employment services. You’ll develop service plans addressing housing, education, healthcare, and benefits, coordinating with partners to promote self-sufficiency.

Reporting to the Client Services Supervisor, you will document progress, provide interpretation/translation as needed, and ensure services are linguistically and culturally

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, or two years of experience in case management or social services.
• Experience with refugees, immigrants, or non-English-speaking populations preferred.
• Fluency in at least one language common to client populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed case management.
• Assist with reception and intake for arriving refugees if needed.
• Screen and enroll eligible families and individuals.
• Develop service plans to address needs and remove barriers.
• Coordinate housing, education, healthcare, social services, and employment supports.
• Maintain client files and submit required program reports.
• Engage with stakeholders and community partners to connect clients with resources.
