Job summary

Southern Nuclear seeks a Refueling Supervisor to lead outage activities, oversee fuel handling, and supervise craft Reactor Technicians. The role reports to the Refueling Manager with dotted line to Site Work Management, driving safety, efficiency, and fleet standardization across outage projects.

The position requires strong leadership, proven outage experience, and the ability to manage complex fuel movements and equipment readiness in a nuclear facility environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial nuclear plant experience required.
• Technical and Project Management background in Nuclear Power preferred.
• Previous experience supervising craft personnel in a commercial plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for execution and craft oversight for Refueling Services (50%).
• Oversee reactor refueling, dry storage, fuel movement, and associated outage activities.
• Provide leadership and performance management of craft Reactor Technicians and communicate with site and corporate stakeholders.
• Monitor outage performance and ensure safety standards and procedures are followed.
• Participate in Refueling High Impact Teams and support fleet standardization.
