Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Refrigeration Technician at our Charlotte, NC location. You will diagnose, overhaul and repair refrigeration units on commercial trucks and trailers, test with electrical and pneumatic tools, and read complex schematics.

Road test when needed and maintain a safe work environment. Required: 6 years in tractor trailer maintenance, high school diploma, and refrigeration component experience; CDL with air brake certification preferred.

Formación

• 6 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components.
• A S E Certification preferred.
• 608/609 certifications preferred.
• CDL with air brake certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
• Willingness to travel and undergo background checks and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair refrigeration units for trucks and trailers.
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read schematics for refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Inspect dimensions and clearances to factory specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety policies.
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation after service.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision and efficiency.
