Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Refrigeration Technician for the Phoenix area. You will diagnose, overhaul, adjust and repair refrigeration units on commercial trucks and trailers, focusing on Carrier/Thermo King equipment.

You’ll test lines and components, read schematics, and document repairs with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires 6 years of experience in tractor-trailer maintenance, a high school diploma, and preferred refrigeration component overhaul training.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Specialized training in overhaul of refrigeration components preferred.
• ASE certification and 608/609 certifications preferred are assets.
• Proficiency with standard trade tools and safety equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust and repair refrigeration units on trucks and trailers.
• Test lines, components and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic tools.
• Read and interpret complex schematics for refrigeration and AC systems.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
