Job summary

Butterball, LLC in Raeford, NC is seeking an IMT to support operating, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, and ice equipment. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and train others, with safety and food safety compliance, in a high-noise food processing plant.

This role requires 2 years maintenance experience, HS diploma, and a certificate in Industrial Maintenance; strong communication and ability

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area preferred.
2 years of experience in at least one maintenance discipline.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain refrigeration systems, including compressors and condensers.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as scheduled.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic skills.
Start up equipment during pre-shift checks (ice makers, chillers).
Train other IMTs in preventive maintenance tasks.
Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
Suggest process improvements to improve uptime and reliability.
Maintain accurate paperwork and time tracking.
