Job summary

Butterball is seeking an IMT to support operation, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of refrigeration systems in a food processing environment. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and starting up equipment such as ice makers and chillers, with an emphasis on reliability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably an Industrial Maintenance certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Industrial Maintenance certificate/diploma strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor refrigeration system components and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Start up equipment during pre-shift operations such as ice makers and chillers.
• Provide training to IMTs on preventive maintenance tasks.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
