Job summary

Butterball, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to provide mechanical and electrical support across our Raeford, NC facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

The role requires hands-on problem-solving, the ability to read diagrams and schematics, and the capacity to train other team members while maintaining accurate paperwork and time records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Industrial Maintenance cert/diploma strongly preferred.
• 2 years of experience in at least one maintenance discipline.
• Willingness to work in a food processing environment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex maintenance tasks across electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks and blade changes.
• Disassembles and reassembles equipment for food safety initiatives.
• Trains IMTs, Machine Operators and Production Associates on preventive maintenance.
