Job summary

Butterball in Raeford, NC seeks a skilled IMT to perform complex maintenance across electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding and fabrication to keep processing equipment operating smoothly.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, tear down and reassemble equipment, and support production teams while following safety and food safety policies. Strong reading of diagrams and work orders is essential, with the ability to work independently or in teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in at least one discipline.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical systems including electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, welding, and fabrication.
• Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools and methods.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and wear-point lubrication.
• Tear down and reassemble equipment for maintenance and safety initiatives.
• Train and support operators and other IMTs in PM tasks.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
• Suggest process improvements to increase uptime and reliability.
• Adhere to safety and food safety policies; maintain accurate records.
