Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in at least one maintenance discipline.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex tasks involving electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication to keep equipment and processes operating.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using diagnostic tools (ladder logic, volt meters, etc.).
• Performs preventive maintenance including lubrication and blade changes.
• Tears down and reassembles equipment for food safety compliance.
• Trains and supports other IMTs, operators and production associates in preventive maintenance tasks.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, schematics, and work orders in duties.
• Suggests process improvements to increase equipment uptime and reliability.
• Acts consistent with Butterball’s values; work solo or in teams with time-efficient focus.
• Follows safety and food safety policies; tracks time and parts; completes paperwork.
