Job summary

Butterball is seeking an IMT to support refrigeration systems across the plant, performing preventive maintenance, monitoring compressors, condensers, and ice-conveying equipment. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, start-up abilities, and collaboration with team members to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and work orders, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous experience working in at least one maintenance discipline.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor refrigeration system, perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Start up equipment during pre-shift checks (e.g., ice makers, chillers).
• Provide training to IMTs on preventive maintenance tasks.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
