Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Technician 3 to maintain, repair, and inspect ammonia refrigeration systems in production. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to interruptions, and be on-call for emergency repairs, communicating with diverse teams and maintaining critical documents.

The role requires work experience emphasizing refrigeration, safety and documentation, plus the ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment while meeting compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical degree in preferred.
• Must have at least 7 years + experience.
• Must have Technician II and PSM/RMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports both the PSM and Refrigeration team to maintain all PSM, Refrigeration and Safety documentation retention.
• Maintains PMs of refrigeration system.
• Confer with operators and observes, tests, and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose root cause of malfunction.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Perform daily chemical testing and logging all test results, making adjustments required to maintain refrigeration & utility system within established limits.
• Assists with inventory control.
