Job summary

General Mills is hiring a Refrigeration Mechanic for the Wellston, OH facility. The role supports 24/7 plant operations with 8-hour shifts, including second shift. Starting pay ranges from $26.85 to $37.85 per hour, plus a $0.25 premium for 2nd or 3rd shift work and opportunities for annual increases.

Expect hands-on maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and collaboration with experienced teams. A technical degree in industrial maintenance and CMMS experience are preferred, with strong safety

Qualifications

• Technical degree in industrial maintenance or related field
• Continuing education in maintenance/technical skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy environments

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance per Master PM schedule
• Troubleshoot and modify plant equipment
• Provide technical support to plant operations
